Welcome members, new and old,
to what is sizing up to be one of the best summers ever at the
Wallingford Swim and Racquet Club!
In all of my years at WSRC, I have never seen such a
dedicated and excited staff and Board of Directors as this group
for 2008. Everyone
has raised the bar this season to make certain our members have a
truly wonderful experience at WSRC.
My excitement for a successful 2008
continues to grow as all of our managers are returning this year
bringing consistency and experience with a touch of youthful
energy to WSRC. Managers
and guards alike have contacted the board this winter with their
thoughts and ideas on how to help WSRC improve everything from
swim lessons and tennis programs to socials and snack bar.
Last year in this newsletter, I
challenged you to get involved and make some memories.
Well you rose to the challenge and we had more involvement
at WSRC in 2007 than I have seen in years!
Whether it was with Spring Clean Up, Swim, Tennis or Paddle
programs, Kidz Krazes, Family Fun Day, Socials or the Rex Storch
Crab Fest fundraiser, members
got involved! I’m
sure that you will all agree that member involvement made for some
of the strongest programs ever at the club.
So my hat’s off to you for rising to
the challenge! Let’s
continue this momentum and make the summer of 2008 the best summer
ever at Wallingford Swim and Racquet Club.
