WSARC 2021 Covid Guidelines –  Updated June 14th, 2021

As WSARC navigates through the COVID-19 pandemic, the safety of our members and staff is our top priority.  Compliance with guidelines and recommendations from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the Centers for Disease Control and USA Swimming means that the WSARC must operate in a modified manner this summer.  This document lays out the WSARC’s COVID-19 operating guidelines.

We ask that all WSARC members read this document carefully and make every attempt to follow all guidelines when coming to the pool.

The WSARC staff and board will continually monitor all state and federal guidelines for any changes that affect the WSARC.  Additionally, we will continually monitor and assess how our guidelines might be changed to better accommodate our members and staff.  We will modify these guidelines as needed and will notify you of any changes.

We realize that these guidelines may inconvenience some of our members.  During this pandemic, our goal is to provide as much access to the pool as possible for our WSARC members, while maintaining a safe environment for all members and staff.  We appreciate your understanding, cooperation and support.

If you, or anyone in your household exhibits symptoms of COVID-19 (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/symptoms-testing/symptoms.html), have tested positive for COVID-19, or were exposed to someone with COVID-19 within the last 14 days do not come to the pool.  If you, or anyone in your household tests positive for COVID-19 you must inform one of the pool managers.

For reference, links to the PA Health Department, CDC and USA swimming guidelines are below.

To ensure the safety of our staff and members, failure to follow these COVID-19 rules will result in expulsion from the pool grounds.
