Hello Wallingford Swim and Racquet Club Members and welcome to the new WSARC website. My name is Jack Beck and I am a senior at Strath Haven High School and have worked as a lifeguard at WSARC for three summers. This past school year the pool board granted me access to updating the website as an independent study class. I worked on it over the course of the semester and finished in early January. I would like to thank the pool board for giving me this opportunity as well as my supervising teacher Kathleen McLead for teaching me web design and helping me along the way in this project. If anyone has any suggestions on updates that they might want to see that might help functionality or friendliness, feel free to find me at the pool in the summer or by contacting one of the board members. Thanks again to all who have helped me with the project!

PS. Also as a lifeguard and a previous member of the pool, I am aware of how annoying it can be to wait for the pool to open after a thunderstorm. That is no longer a problem. If you look down at the bottom of any of the web pages you will see a little lightning bolt box. This will show the distance from the pool the last strike was in a thunderstorm as well as the number of bolts per hour. If there is a bolt that is 10 miles away the pool will more than likely be closed.
